After hundreds of hours of research, experimenting, real world testing and fine-tuning over the past years, we’ve dialed in our formulas to deliver the best possible results for your skin.
We take an uncommon approach to formulation by avoiding petroleum by-products, parabens, phthalates, canola oil, nut oils, and unnecessary seed oils while prioritizing ingredients that deliver lasting moisture and skin comfort.

Our Story
Skin Potion Naturals has grown over decades from a passion for natural remedies.
A mom of two, the source of my interest in natural remedies started long before this business ever existed. For decades I’ve been interested herbalism, essential oils, teas, supplements and nutrition.
But the spark that actually got the ball rolling? I couldn’t find a single body cleanser on the shelf that didn’t leave my skin dry, tight, itchy and disrupting my day.
When I dug into the ingredients and the science behind the good ones and the bad ones, I was honestly shocked at how many cheap, harsh, skin-stripping chemicals were hiding in “normal” products we all use.
Frustrated with the commercial options, I realized that if I wanted truly clean, gentle, nourishing skincare, I would have to make it myself. After some experimentation, I soon had a small mountain of soap so I began selling to friends and family. they were a hit!
Shortly after, I nabbed a table at a little monthly market and grew from there, creating more products upon request and thriving from customers’ testimonials.
I launched this business with one clear mission: give people truly clean, nourishing skincare and teach them why it matters.
What began with a few bars of soap at that monthly market turned into something so much bigger, because people kept coming back— and bringing everyone they knew. When my second baby was born with eczema, mama instinct kicked in and I wanted to heal it. I dug deeper into the research, testing and tweaking until I created gentle, safe, wonderfully effective products that actually calm and heal sensitive, irritated skin. Now my eldest is experiencing acne, so I’m in a whole new mode of research and creation.

Our soaps are cold-processed with the natural glycerin left in and superfatted with rich oils and butters.
You’ll never find cheap grocery store seed oils, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, petroleum junk, detergents, silicones, surfactant additives or hardeners in anything we make. Only pure, straightforward, skin-loving ingredients that make sense—and save you money. I’m practical to my core, so I love creating multi-purpose products that simplify your routine and actually work.
My family uses every single thing we sell and more often than not, a new product is born from a need for it within our family (like when my daughter developed eczema and my son developed acne). More than thirteen years of research, experimenting and real-life testimonials has gone into these formulas. They’re cleaner, richer, gentler, and flat-out more effective than anything commercial you’ll find—yet still affordable.
The testimonials and photos you send after angry skin finally calms down, when confidence comes roaring back—those are what keep me up at night in the workshop, loving what I do. I still get messages weekly from someone who raves about a product.
